  • Step 1: Phone Consultation

    Timeline: Begins Immediately

Our process begins with a friendly conversation where we learn about your project, location, and vision. Before the call concludes, we’ll schedule our next meeting - an initial consultation to review any photographs, inspiration ideas, or plans you’ve shared with our team. This step helps us understand your goals and sets the stage for a successful collaboration.

  • Step 2: Initial Consult

    Timeline: 30-60 minutes

During this meeting (in-person or via Zoom), we take time to get to know you and your vision for the project. Together, we’ll discuss your goals, clarify the details, and answer any questions you may have. By the end of our meeting, we’ll share a rough scope of work and an anticipated investment range to give you a clear picture of what to expect moving forward.

If you decide to proceed with design, we’ll enter into Design & Project Development, which includes a fee of 2% or 3% of the anticipated project cost, depending on whether an architect is involved. This fee is credited back to you once the construction agreement is signed.

  • Step 3: Design & Project Development

    Timeline: 6-12 weeks

The Discovery Phase is where your project begins to take shape. We start by taking detailed field measurements and photos of your home, carefully inspecting the structure for any visible challenges, including framing direction, load-bearing points, and the condition of drywall and flooring. Preliminary observations of mechanical and electrical systems help us identify potential requirements. Using this information, we create floor plans and renderings, refining the designs based on your feedback (up to two rounds of revisions), while collaborating with officials and engineers to ensure all permitting, zoning, and code requirements are met.

As the design is finalized, we move into the Detailed Design Phase. Our team coordinates on-site meetings with mechanical trade partners so they can provide precise quotes. Our Selection Coordinator works closely with you throughout this phase to help you choose finishes and materials that reflect your vision and fit your budget.

  • Step 4: Finalizing Design

Before construction begins, we ensure everything is in place and costs are confirmed. You’ll be provided with a comprehensive scope of work, budget, and materials list, giving you an exact project cost

  • Step 5: Construction

Timeline: Typically 6-12 weeks after signing the construction contract

Once the construction contract is signed, we order all materials and schedule a start date based on their delivery timeline. To help you prepare for your remodeling project, we provide a detailed checklist designed to minimize disruptions and ensure you’re ready for the construction process. We take dust control seriously!

Before work begins, you’ll meet your dedicated Project Lead, who will address any questions or concerns and make sure you feel confident moving forward. Throughout the project, your Project Lead will provide daily updates, share progress photos through our project management software, and oversee the team to maintain a clean and organized worksite at the end of each day.

  • Step 6: Our Warranty & Commitment

Timeline: 12-month warranty with extended support for up to 24 months

Our commitment to you doesn’t end when the construction is complete. We offer a 12-month warranty with regular check-ins to address any issues that arise during this period. But even more importantly, if you run into any issues or have questions about your newly remodeled space, please get in touch with us.
