Luxurious Retreat Primary Bathroom Remodel
This primary bathroom remodel in Xenia, Ohio transformed the homeowners’ bathroom and bedroom into a luxurious retreat designed for comfort, style, and long-term functionality.
In the primary bathroom, the layout was completely reimagined to create a spa-like atmosphere. The existing shower was reconfigured to remove the step-down entry and eliminate sharp angles, resulting in a safer, more open design. Dual vanities with custom cabinetry and quartz counters provide ample storage, while heated tile floors add everyday comfort. To elevate the design, custom molding was built around each mirror to create a seamless built-in look, which also provided the perfect framework for elegant sconces, giving the space a polished, designer finish.
This bathroom remodel included premium fixtures, including Brizo faucets and a multi-function Brizo shower system with handheld and diverter, combine elegance with performance. A TOTO toilet, updated lighting from Visual Comforts, and modern ventilation further enhanced the space. The finishes were carefully selected to achieve a timeless yet modern aesthetic, blending polished chrome fixtures with durable tile and cabinetry.
The primary bedroom was refreshed to flow seamlessly with the new bathroom. Pocket doors were added to the suite’s closets for improved function, while new hardwood flooring throughout the space adds warmth and continuity. A unique detail was the addition of the wood floor border around the carpet in the bedroom, creating both definition and a custom high-end finish.
