Spa-Inspired Custom Walk-In Shower with Digital Controls
Our clients wanted to transform their dated primary bathroom into a space that was both luxurious and practical for long-term living. Working within the existing footprint, our design-build team reimagined the entire layout to create a spa-inspired retreat with a walk-in shower that seamlessly blends modern functionality with timeless craftsmanship.
The new bathroom features custom cabinetry in a warm carmel stain, offering abundant storage and a tailored built-in look. A striking granite countertop brings movement and natural beauty, complemented by Kohler plumbing fixtures and soft under-cabinet lighting for an inviting glow. The curbless walk-in shower ensures the owners can age-in-place.
A lot of focus was put on designing a shower. The expansive curbless walk-in shower showcases large-format porcelain wall tile in a subtle white stone pattern with coordinating hex mosaic flooring. It’s outfitted with Kohler digital shower controls, dual shower heads, body sprays, and a ceiling mouted rainfall shower, delivering a spa-quality experience at home. A built-in bench, grab bars, and a frameless glass enclosure complete the design, balancing safety and sophistication.
Every detail was considered — from the crown molding and framed mirrors to the custom linen cabinetry and makeup vanity. The warm wood tones and natural materials create a timeless aesthetic that feels elevated yet comfortable.
