Choosing a Kitchen Sink Part 1

Decide if you would like a top or under mount sink. This decision will help determine the number of basins and other features that might be available.

Top mount sinks are also known as drop in sinks are easy to install and come in a variety of finishes and sizes.

An under mount sink sits below the countertop. Undermounts have a clean appearance and are easy to clean around.

Farmhouse sinks also known as apron sinks are durable and stylish. They tend to be found in country style homes. They feature a large deep single basin. They also tend to be deep making it easy to wash pots and pans. Farmhouse sinks also come in stainless steel.
